A snooker table is not very high maintenance but there are some certain things that need to be done to ensure that you get the most out of your table. Here is how you can properly take care of your snooker table.

Whenever you brush your snooker table, you want to brush it with the way the nap is going. This helps to ensure that you have a smooth playing surface for your game. Also, you may want to invest in an actual brush for a snooker or pool table instead of just using any brush. This way you can be sure that the brush will not scratch the cloth.  Also, you want to brush in straight lines and not just in random patterns. This helps to collect all the debris in one end of the table, which can then be easily brushed towards one of the corners.

When you clean the wood around the snooker table, a clean, dry cloth should suffice in properly cleaning off the dust and debris. Most tables will not require a wood cleaning product. But, if you do want to use one, be sure that you spray it on the actual cloth first and not on the table, as you don't want to get it on the cloth.

When you are not using your snooker table, you should use a cover to help protect the table from dirt and dust. This will also help prevent stains and spills as well as fading. If you use a cover for your table, you will have to clean it less as it will not get the accumulation of dust like it would if it sat uncovered. If you are serious about your snooker table or you paid good money for it, keep your investment like new and purchase a cover to protect it.
