Last month I purchased a Pontoon Boat Carpet and Bass Boat Carpet from your website. I had been on the lookout for a reliable website offering quality boat carpets at affordable rates and most of all I wanted step-by-step instructions on how to have it installed in my boat. This site Boatcarpetcentral.com is really good and has so much information on it. On every occasion, I have felt that it is easy to navigate, well laid out and attractive to the eye.

Boat Carpet Installation Guide For A Novice Like Myself

Last month I purchased a Pontoon Boat Carpet and Bass Boat Carpet from your website. I had been on the lookout for a reliable website offering quality boat carpets at affordable rates and most of all I wanted step-by-step instructions on how to have it installed in my boat. This site Boatcarpetcentral.com is really good and has so much information on it. On every occasion, I have felt that it is easy to navigate, well laid out and attractive to the eye.

I followed the Pontoon and Bass Boat Carpet installation guides given on the website and I must say that they were accurate to the T. While installing my Pontoon Boat Carpet I rolled it out, left an inch for the trim, folded it over and knelt over it to apply the glue in circles, as directed. Then I folded the carpet over the glue, section by section and finally used a garden roller to go over the carpet. This ensured I did not get any unseemly gaps and air bubbles under my carpet and the final result was amazing. I waited for about 14 hours (2 hours longer than the website suggested!) and sealed the ends with fast drying contact cement. The whole process was simple, practical and I did not have any kind of trouble understanding the guide.

With my second carpet, the Bass Boat one I had a similar experience. I followed the steps enlisted on the website. In the first step I took out all the storage boxes, old glue and vacuumed the entire deck. When I was satisfied that it was spotless, I measured the deck, cut the carpet to size, applied the glue to the floorboards and rolled the carpet over, section by section. When I had finished gluing the carpet, I pressed the entire surface to dislodge any air gaps that may have occurred. I used a screwdriver to mark the edges of the carpet and finally cut off the excess fabric.

I found the language lucid, the instructions easy to follow and with many handy hints. The installation guides made laying new carpets on my boats hassle-free.
