Right time to book that trip to London. You've been working hard and you need a fabulous weekend away to let your hair down. And take in a bit of culture too of course. So where should you stay. London hotels encompass everything throughout the accommodation spectrum, from humble backpacker hostels through to some of the most famous hotels in the world. Probably going to have to count them out though. Shame. Bet you quite fancied living it up on Park Lane.
Now the problem with an awful lot of hotels, and this is true of London hotels too, is that they're just a bit bland. Fine for visiting businessmen who are just up for a meeting or a conference. However, if you're looking for a fun weekend away that simply won't do. You want something fun, quirky and memorable. Forget the branded soap and his and hers bathrobes. These hotels are individual, charming and bursting with character. Just because they aren't owned by the big chains, don't assume that the service won't be up to scratch. Quite the opposite in fact. These boutique hotels in London thrive on creating a unforgettable experience for their guests – from the designer interiors and edgy restaurant menus through to the personal attention and warmth of the staff. When you stay in chain hotels, yes you know what to expect, but that's what makes them ultimately dull. You can't go far wrong, but you never feel inspired when you stay at them.
